MEET THE ARTISTS
Fine Artist, Oil Painter
Cooper Lanza began oil painting at age 6. She studied at The American Academy of Art in Chicago, then moved to Eugene to study Fine Art and Dance at the University of Oregon.
Cooper left school in her final quarter and moved to France, where she studied at L'Académie de la Grande Chaumière. Cooper lived in France for nearly 10 years before returning to the US.
In 1996, Cooper moved to Washington State and began working as a muralist and decorative painter. Cooper returned to school in 2004 and earned her BFA in Performance Production with an emphasis in Scenic Painting from Cornish College of the Arts.
In December 2015, she completed her MFA in Fine Art: Painting and Drawing from The Academy of Art University.
MORGAN PARIS LANZA
Performer, Jazz Vocalist
Morgan Paris Lanza is a versatile vocalist, most at home singing popular songs and Jazz standards. Her voice has been described by fans as Sultry, Jazzy, Complex and Unique.
Morgan hosts live music at the gallery and teaches vocal lessons to singers of all ages and skill levels. "If you can talk, you can sing!"
Morgan is the Co-Director and one of the founding organizers of Bellingham Girls Rock Camp. In June of 2015, Morgan earned a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Fairhaven College with minors in Music; Audio Technology, Music and Society; and French.
